Grievance / Complaints

Last updated: 15 September 2026

SmartTech Insurance Brokers LLP is committed to resolving any concern you have about our service, a quote, or the AI Advisor promptly and fairly. This page explains how to raise a grievance and what happens next.

Step 1 — Reach out to us directly

Most concerns can be resolved quickly if you contact us directly with the details of your policy enquiry or quote and a description of the issue:

Please include your name, the mobile number or email used with the Service, and as much detail as possible about your complaint. We aim to acknowledge every complaint promptly and work towards a resolution as quickly as we reasonably can.

Step 2 — Grievance Officer

If your complaint isn't resolved to your satisfaction through Step 1, you may write to our Grievance Officer, quoting your earlier reference and explaining why the resolution offered was unsatisfactory:

Step 3 — Escalate to IRDAI

If you remain unsatisfied after raising your complaint with us, you may approach the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) through its Bima Bharosa / Integrated Grievance Management System (IGMS), or by calling IRDAI's toll-free grievance call centre. Details of IRDAI's grievance redressal channels are published on IRDAI's official website.

When escalating to IRDAI, please quote our IRDAI Insurance Broker License No. 731 (Valid till 23/11/2026, Code — IRDA/DB821/20) so your complaint can be correctly routed to us.

Complaints about a specific insurer

If your grievance is specifically about a claim decision, policy servicing, or conduct of the insurer that issued your policy (rather than about our brokerage service), the insurer's own grievance redressal process, as stated in your policy document, will generally apply — we're happy to help you identify the right insurer contact if you're unsure.

What we ask from you

  • A clear description of the issue and what resolution you're looking for.
  • Any reference numbers, screenshots, or quote details relevant to your complaint.
  • A way to reach you — the email or mobile number linked to your conversation, if you were signed in.
